Fintiri Tasks APC Candidates With Building Grassroots Momentum

Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa State, has urged All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates and party leaders to fortify grassroots institutions and cooperate in order to win the general elections in 2027.

At the Government House in Yola, where the governorship election is being prepared, Fintiri made the announcement while speaking to candidates and party stakeholders.

The governor emphasized that unity, dedication, and efficient coordination at all levels would be necessary for electoral success and urged party members to step up mobilization throughout communities and polling places.

After attending the meeting with other candidates and party leaders, Ahmad Salihijo, an APC House of Representatives candidate, revealed this on X.

According to Salihijo, the governor emphasized the necessity of working together to support Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Galadima, the party’s candidate for governor, and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

He urged party stakeholders to collaborate and improve their grassroots voter engagement, pointing out that securing victory required more than individual efforts.

Salihijo stated that he was willing to work with other APC leaders and candidates to accomplish the party’s electoral goals.

Galadima has emerged as the APC’s governorship candidate in an effort to strengthen its political position in Adamawa before the 2027 elections.

Fintiri is doing a good job by calling on Party members to set aside differences, unite and mobilise voters at the grassroots to ensure the party performs strongly in 2027, rather than creating divisions or chaos within its ranks. Fintiri’s call for APC candidates and members to build grassroots momentum is a timely reminder that unity and focused engagement are essential to the party’s success.
