Alleged Fake Agency Director Faces Forgery Charges In Court

Adeniyi Adeyemi, the Director-General of the alleged fraudulent Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council, has been charged with forgery by the Federal Government.

Judge Muhammad Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja presided over Adeyemi’s arraignment.

An eight-count charge that borders on alleged forgery is pending against him.

Adeyemi was accused by the Federal Government of forging an appointment letter to President Femi Gbajabiamila that was allegedly signed by the Chief of Staff and issued by President Bola Tinubu.

Adeyemi was reportedly taken to court on Wednesday for his arraignment by the police.

Adeyemi has been in police custody since his arrest.
