Remi Aluko Opens Up About His Battle With Glaucoma

Remi Aluko, a Fuji musician, has spoken out about his deteriorating health and disclosed that he has lost his vision due to a protracted fight with glaucoma.

In a candid interview on Oyinmomo TV, the musician disclosed the difficulties he has been dealing with behind the scenes.

“I’m a glaucoma patient. I’m managing myself; I’m currently not seeing. Despite being a glaucoma patient, many people don’t know. There’s no difference between me and a blind person now, but no one knows because I don’t let my condition weigh me down,” he said.

“Thank God that I know how to take care of myself like someone who can see. I decided not to dwell on my condition because I don’t want to be depressed.”

I truly admire his resilient spirit. Despite facing the challenges of glaucoma, he chooses not to let depression or pain define him. Instead, he manages his condition with strength and grace, never allowing his struggles to be visible to the world. His attitude serves as an inspiring lesson in courage and perseverance.
