Toluwanising’s Widow’s Heartbreaking Plea For Her Children

The late gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, better known by his stage name as Toluwanisings, left a widow named Elizabeth Olayemi, who has asked him to remember her and their kids.

During the deceased’s tribute nite and song service on Tuesday nite, Elizabeth said this.

Prominent performers attended the October 27, 2026, event in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Elizabeth sobbed as she spoke at the event, pleading with Toluwanisings to remember her and their children.

While revealing that she will forever miss him, she said “Toluwanisings my dear husband, I will forever miss you. Please don’t forget your children and me.”

I sincerely sympathize with the widow during this painful time. While tensions continue over where her husband will be buried, we do not know the full details of what has happened between her and her in-laws, so it would be unfair to draw conclusions. Still, we hope this situation will not drag on like Mohbad’s case, where the burial was postponed for years. For Toluwanising’s sake, we appeal to the family and the widow to set aside their differences, find common ground, and reach a compromise so he can receive a dignified burial and finally rest in peace.

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.

QUOTES

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
