Yul Edochie Condemns Violence Against Women

Actor Yul Edochie has cautioned men about spending excessive amounts of money on women, particularly in unsuccessful relationships.

According to him, a man has no right to harm a woman if she chooses to leave him for another man just because he spent money on her. He believes that no amount of money spent on a relationship should ever be used as an excuse for killing someone or using violence.

In a post he shared, he wrote:

“Men, no matter how much money you spend on a woman, it doesn’t give you the right to harm her if she leaves you for another man.

“It doesn’t make her deserving of de.ath.

“She never forced you to spend your money.

“You did it out of your own free will.

“No woman forces a man to spend his money on her.

“To avoid such stories, men have sense.

“Spend your money on yourself.

“Invest in yourself.

“If you want to spend your money on a woman, spend what you can forfeit, incase things go wrong.”

Yul is absolutely right: spending money on a woman never gives a man the right to abuse her even if she chooses to leave. Men should spend responsibly and within their means, without treating generosity as a reason to expect control or commitment in return.
