Prof. Pat Utomi Shares His Near-Death Encounters
A detailed account of Professor Pat Utomi’s near-death experiences has been provided.
The Nigerian management expert and professor of political economy posted about his escape from De@th on Facebook.
He wrote: ’35 years ago, doctors at Boromeo Hospital in Onitsha told the Chief of Surgery that they had lost me.
‘No pulse. No breathing.
‘But the surgeon refused to give up. He insisted on fighting on, determined to at least “fulfill all righteousness.”
‘Then, against all expectations, they found me alive and proceeded with surgery to stop the internal bleeding caused by an accident near Asaba the night before.
‘The accident had already claimed the life of my driver.
‘July will always be a month of non-stop thanksgiving in my family.
‘Years later, I found myself in another close shave, this time during the 7/7 terror!st attacks on London’s transport system.
‘Looking back at it all, one thing is certain: if God is with you, you have everything.
‘Gratitude to my Maker.’
We sincerely thank God for his divine intervention and protection throughout Prof. Pat Utomi’s experiences. His mercy and grace have been evident in guiding him through those challenging moments. May his holy name be praised forever.
