President Tinubu To Deliver 66th Independence Anniversary Speech

On Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7 a.m., President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will give a speech to the country in honor of Nigeria’s 66th anniversary of independence.

Special Advisor to the President on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga announced the planned national broadcast on Wednesday.

The statement states that radio and television stations, along with other electronic media outlets, are anticipated to join the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) network services for the address.
