Otti Unveils Bold Vision For Abia As Nigeria’s Next Entertainment And Tourism Powerhouse

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has pledged his administration’s dedication to fostering the creative sector and establishing Abia as a significant center for tourism, entertainment, film production, and cultural promotion.

On Saturday, Otti revealed this to a group of Nollywood professionals, including Mr. Francis Ifeakandu, the producer of The Chronicles of Enyimba City, at his country home in Nvosi, Isialangwa South LGA.

The governor praised Nollywood professionals for creating a movie that aims to highlight Abia State’s rich cultural legacy, history, and progress, calling the project timely and consistent with his administration.

“Vision of promoting investment, tourism, and economic growth through the creative sector”.

“While my government may not directly sponsor private film projects, my administration remains committed to providing the necessary support and enabling environment required for the growth of the entertainment industry in the state.

“I assured you of support, and that support remains available. Government will continue to provide an enabling environment and work with stakeholders to ensure that initiatives capable of promoting Abia and creating opportunities for our people succeed,” 0tti stated.”
