Ned Nwoko Calls For Privacy For Regina Daniels

In the midst of their ongoing marital crisis, Senator Ned Nwoko has stood up for his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, asking her supporters, friends, bloggers, and social media commentators to give her time to heal.

In a statement posted on his social media page on Monday, Nwoko made the plea, voicing concern for the actress’s welfare and the spread of what he called “false reports” about her personal life and health.

He stated that the appeal was essential not only for Daniels but also for their kids, who, in his opinion, ought to have their mother’s support while she pursued her recovery.

“I want to make a sincere appeal to the public, particularly Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to please give Regina some breathing space.

“I make this appeal not just for her sake, but also for the sake of the kids, who are very well cared for and deserve to see their mother supported, loved and given every opportunity to get better.

“Regardless of the difficulties we have faced, her well-being has always mattered to me. It is, in fact, the very concern that brought much of our private situation into the public domain.

“I am particularly concerned about the circulation of false and disturbing reports about her, including fabricated death announcements, misleading stories and other hurtful content. These things are not harmless social media engagement.

“Let me make this very clear: I will not tolerate the deliberate spread of false information about Regina, particularly fabricated reports about her death, health or personal circumstances.”

Above all, we wish Regina a speedy recovery. May God restore her health and grant her strength during this time.

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.

QUOTES

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
