A Surprise Runway Moment From Sanwo-Olu At Lagos Fashion Week

At the 2026 Lagos Fashion Week (LFW), models walked the runway alongside Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Ugo Monye dressed the governor in regal off-white clothing that resembled a seamless combination of a kimono and a caftan. A beige fedora completed the airy yet elegant look.

Sanwo-Olu walked confidently down the runway. The governor gave the cheering audience in the hall a knowing nod here and a flash of peace signs there.

The 2026 LFW, titled “CRAFTED: Heritage,” started at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos last Wednesday and will end on Sunday.

It was lovely to see the governor on the runway at Lagos Fashion Week. He looked handsome, and his outfit was stylish and eye-catching. His appearance added a memorable touch to the event, and we hope to see more moments like this in the near future.
