Kingdom Or Personal Empire? Pastor Ashimolowo Speaks On True Leadership

Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo, Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Center, KiCC, has urged religious leaders—particularly wealthy pastors—to have a kingdom mindset.

During his visit to the Dreamland complex in Master’s City, Warri, Ashimolowo stated that the majority of pastors in this generation are not preoccupied with heavenly matters.

He underlined the necessity of producing a generation of leaders who are both spiritually grounded and prepared for the challenges of the modern world

“This time requires leaders who are spiritually deep, mentally sharp, emotionally stable, and financially wise.”

“Kingdom-mindedness is not common in this generation, especially among founders. If you cannot invest in your own ministry, how do you expect your members to invest? People are watching your priorities and your commitment.”

Every pastor must be Kingdom-minded, prioritizing the expansion and integrity of God’s kingdom above all else. If you are a pastor and your focus is not on the kingdom of God, I honestly wonder what your true purpose is. Our primary calling is to lead souls toward Christ and to advance His kingdom on earth. Anything less diminishes the very essence of our divine commission. Let us remain committed to God’s purpose, always keeping the kingdom at the center of our ministry

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.

QUOTES

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
