Ivy Ifeoma Reveals Why Women Must Stop Chasing Rich Husbands

Published on

Singer Rudeboy’s wife, Ivy Ifeoma, has urged women to put their own financial development ahead of finding a wealthy husband.
Ifeoma shared her opinions on marriage and wealth, pointing out that although marrying a wealthy man can have certain benefits, it should never be the basis for selecting a life partner.

“This is my take on the idea of marrying a rich man and before you come for me, know that I was a millionaire before I met this man.

To be honest, marrying a rich man should not be anybody’s primary goal. Because why would you even have the primary goal of marrying somebody else because they are rich, at the end of the day it’s their money, not your money. I’d rather you stay in marriage with a generous person. But don’t get me wrong but marrying rich is a very good add-on because it can open doors of opportunities for you, but what I will tell you to do as a woman is to get rich….”

Regardless of whether a husband is wealthy or not, what truly matters is building a marriage rooted in love, understanding, and mutual respect. Instead of focusing solely on material wealth, we should pray for a marriage that feels like heaven on earth—full of joy, peace, and divine blessing. True fulfillment in marriage comes from connection, commitment, and divine guidance, not just financial status.
