Breaking News: Osun Lawmaker And 146 Suspected Thugs Detained By Police

According to reports, Hon. Abiola Ibrahim, an Accord Party member of the Osun State House of Assembly who represents the Irewole-Isoko Constituency, has admitted to bringing 146 voters into Ikire to cast ballots for his party in the current governorship election.

The 146 people were brought into Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area, to cast ballots for the Accord Party, according to a preliminary statement allegedly given by the lawmaker to the Osun State Police Command.

After being detained by the police, Ibrahim and the 146 suspected voters were turned over to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for additional examination.

It wasn’t immediately apparent what was going on with the voters’ purported movement and their intended polling places.

Kudos to the police for their diligent efforts in cracking this high-profile case and bringing these suspects to justice. Their commitment to maintaining peace and order in Osun is truly commendable, and their relentless pursuit of justice underscores the importance of security in our communities.
