Comedian Basketmouth’s estranged wife, Elsie Okpocha, has bemoaned the subtle emotional difficulties that many women encounter in their marriages.

Elsie shared a conversation about a woman who allegedly refused to list her husband as her emergency contact because he seldom answers her calls in a post on her Instagram story.

“Someone told me she doesn’t have her husband as her emergency contact, and I asked why? She said cos he won’t pick her calls normally talk more of emergency. I felt for her.”

“And sometimes you wonder the essence of marriage…. when this is a tip of the iceberg of what women go through, sad!” she added.

However, when it comes to marriage, one key principle is that both parties should always be there for each other. If you notice a missed call from your spouse or partner, it’s advisable to return the call as soon as possible.
