Atiku Meets Amaechi Following ADC Presidential Primary
Following the conclusion of the African Democratic Congress presidential primaries, former vice president Atiku Abubakar paid former governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi a visit at his Abuja home on Thursday.
Aminu Tambuwal, the former governor of Sokoto State, Ralph Nwosu, the former national chairman of the ADC, and other party leaders accompanied Atiku.
The visit coincides with political debates and reactions following the ADC primaries, where Atiku and Amaechi both played significant roles.
The visit was a component of continuing discussions to improve party cohesion following the presidential primary election in preparation for the general elections in 2027.
As of the time this report was filed, no information about the private meeting had been disclosed.
I truly love this great move by Atiku. It is in their best interest to work together, pooling their strengths to effectively challenge and defeat other parties. Such unity could be a significant step toward achieving their shared goals and fostering a stronger political future.
