Toluwanisings’ Death Reports: Facts And Updates

Published on

Fans and colleagues are looking for answers in the wake of rumors that Nigerian gospel singer Toluwanisings has passed away.

Pelumi Olajengbesi, a lawyer and convener of the Coalition of Public Interests Lawyers and Advocates, posted a picture of the singer on Instagram on Wednesday, causing the reports to go viral on social media.

Olajengbesi expressed concern about the deaths of young Nigerians and seemed to be in mourning for the singer.

“My God! What a life! No, Lord! We plead for Your mercy upon Toluwanisings. I am deeply troubled by the deaths of young men and women. This is not God’s plan for us,” he wrote.

Although the post did not specify what had happened to the singer, it was widely taken as an announcement of Toluwanisings’ passing.

Comedian Ayo Ajewole, popularly known as Woli Agba, cautioned the public not to assume the singer had passed away shortly after.

He said, “Please hold on. Please don’t conclude. We are trusting God. Please.”

Another social media user identified as Fowooflagos claimed that Toluwanisings was alive and receiving treatment at an undisclosed medical centre.

“Sources confirmed Toluwanisings is now receiving medical treatment in an undisclosed medical center,” the caption reads.

There are still conflicting reports regarding the singer’s health. According to some reports, he collapsed and was transported to the hospital, but according to others, he passed away following the incident.

At the time this report was filed, neither his family nor an official representative had provided a clear public confirmation of his condition.

Shortly after Toluwanisings was allegedly active in Ibadan, Oyo State, there was uncertainty.

The singer appeared on Tuesday nite at In His Presence, a gospel worship and praise show hosted by fellow gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba, according to Business Post Nigeria. He later became ill, according to the report.

Let’s not write off someone who is still alive or spread prophecies of death. Instead, let’s keep Toluwanisings in our prayers, asking God to grant him a speedy and complete recovery, provide him with the best care and attention in the hospital, and guide and protect him through this difficult time. We pray that death will be far from him and that he will live to declare the Word of God. May he come through this stronger and return with a testimony of God’s goodness. Nigerians, let’s choose hope, compassion, and prayer over rumors and fear.
