Tinubu’s Saudi Arabia Visit Ends After Umrah

President Bola Tinubu has concluded his visit to Saudi Arabia after performing the Umrah pilgrimage and praying inside the Holy Kaaba.

Tinubu announced the end of his visit in a post on X on Monday. He departed Abuja last Thursday, travelling with state governors, cabinet ministers and members of the business community.

The President said he and members of his delegation were given the rare opportunity to enter the Kaaba and pray. He thanked King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for arranging the opportunity and extending their hospitality.

Tinubu said the visit highlighted the longstanding ties of faith and friendship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.

May Allah accept the prayers and acts of worship performed by the President and his delegation, and reward them for their pilgrimage.
