Tinubu Accuses Opponents Of Fueling Hunger And Poverty In Kaduna
Nigeria’s hunger and poverty are the fault of his political rivals, according to President Bola Tinubu, who also claims that his government is trying to solve the problems.
In advance of the 2027 general elections, Tinubu gave a speech on Saturday at the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off rally at Ranchers Bees Stadium in Kaduna State.
“I have an argument. I hear my opponent talking about hunger, poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, they created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” the President said.
“We pay salaries regularly. Our governors are working. I am proud of them. They are developing.”
“You gave me joy to remember the victory you gave me to become president. I come again to thank you.”
In order to fulfilll his pledge of prosperity, continuity, advancement, and development, the president pled with the voters to grant him another mandate.
At the rally, Tinubu also spoke to Nigerian children, describing his administration’s dedication to the nation’s future as a promise, though the transcription that is currently available ends before he finishes.
In advance of the 2027 general elections, the APC’s presidential campaign officially began with the rally at Ranchers Bees Stadium, also called Kaduna Township Stadium.
As party leaders and supporters gathered from all over the nation to mobilize support for Tinubu’s bid for a second term, the party selected Kaduna for the flag-off.
I’m left wondering why Tinubu is accusing his political opponents of causing hunger and poverty, especially as many Nigerians continue to look to the government for solutions to the hardship they face.
