Segun Johnson: From Hunger To Harmony

Nigerian musician Segun Johnson has disclosed that he became a musician due to hunger.

Johnson discussed how his career started and how he participated in a variety of activities as a teenager, such as playing football and drawing, in a recent episode of the WithChude podcast.

He said;

“What led me into music was purely hunger. At a tender age, I was doing a lot of things, and most teenagers are usually lost in the midst of being multitalented. I was playing football, I used to be a good artiste back in school, I was playing the drum set, I was doing a lot of things.

“But when I needed to make money quickly at a tender age, music was the solution for me. So because I played drums back then and I was a little bit good at it, I started going for different events with different musicians. Then I started playing for different churches when they had special programs.”

God knows how He does His things. Sometimes, if we resist a path or don’t want to do something, circumstances beyond our control will eventually push us toward our success and breakthrough. I believe that hunger was what propelled Segun Johnson to pursue his passion, and even hunger played a role in driving him to his destiny. We’re genuinely happy to see him thriving and doing so well. I believe he’s exactly where he’s meant to be, fulfilling God’s plan for him.
