Future Prices: Petrol, Cement Set To Soar in 2027 – Primate Ayodele’s Prediction

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has cautioned that if Nigerians choose the “wrong candidate” in the general elections of 2027, they may experience severe economic hardship.

In a statement released by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele forecast that under what he called an unfavorable political leadership, the price of gasoline could increase to ₦2,500 per liter, while diesel could reach ₦3,000 per liter.

The cleric also forecast price increases for building materials, such as cement, electricity rates, and examination fees.

“If Nigeria votes for the wrong candidate in 2027, petrol will rise to ₦2,500, and diesel will go to ₦3,000. There will be economic hardship, and insecurity will increase.

“Another new terrorist group will come up, and electricity tariffs will rise. WAEC fee will rise to ₦70,000, and a bag of cement will rise to ₦18,000 regardless of whatever Dangote does,” Ayodele was quoted as saying.

“The poor will suffer it greatly, and everything will change. There will be wrong policies, our foreign reserves will go down, corruption will increase.

“Nigerians must open their eyes before voting for any candidate in the forthcoming election. This election will determine a lot, and if care isn’t taken, Nigerians will move into another round of hardship.

“Don’t just vote for people because of cups of rice and a few thousand. Whatever decision you make determines your life in the next four years. If a wrong candidate emerges, it will be difficult for Nigerians.

“In the coming days, I will reveal God’s choice for Nigerians in the coming election. I will let the people know how to identify the best candidate, but it’s left to them to decide what they want to follow.

“However, a wrong candidate will bring severe hardship,” Ayodele said.

If Nigerians truly desire to keep the prices of petrol and other essential commodities affordable, it is crucial that they make wise choices in the upcoming 2027 general election. Voting for the right leaders—those committed to transparency, good governance, and economic stability—is the most effective way to prevent unnecessary price hikes and ensure a better future for all. We must remember that our votes are powerful; we should not sell them for temporary gains or superficial promises, but instead use them to shape a Nigeria that works for everyone.
