Prudent Gabriel, a well-known fashion designer from Nigeria, has shared a personal story that has sparked comments on social media. She claims that some of the people who wronged her in the past later came back to apologize after going through difficult times.
The fashion entrepreneur described multiple interactions with former coworkers and students who, in her opinion, had wronged her in the past but had later returned to ask for forgiveness in a video posted on social media.
She shared the story of a former worker who allegedly left with two of her customers’ clothing items. According to her, the individual returned about a year later to apologise and revealed that things had not been going smoothly since leaving.
“For the past five years, I noticed that when people work with me and do something bad to me, when they leave, it always looks like things don’t work out for them.
“My first bidder left with two of my customers’ appliqué. I was hurt, but after one year, he came back begging, saying things had not been working well for him.
“She said since she left my academy, things have not been going well for her. They asked her to apologise to the people she had offended and told me to forgive her. But I pray for my students every day. I don’t know if it’s just me this happens to or if other people experience such things.”
