Family Of The Late Mr. Ibu Reveals Heartfelt Struggles After His Passing

The family of late Nollywood comedian and actor John Ikechukwu Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu, has talked candidly about the challenging circumstances they have encountered since his passing.

Speaking to content creator King Mitchy during a recent visit, the family disclosed that Mr. Ibu’s two sons and only daughter have left school because of their financial circumstances.

The family claims that because they are unable to pay the bills, they have also been without running water and electricity for weeks.

The children’s mother disclosed that life has been difficult for them.

“We fetched water from the well because I have not paid the house rent, they even cut my light since two months now, no light since we have been like that every night we go to look for where to charge our phones and it’s not easy, she said.

The daughter also pleaded with Nigerians to come to their aid.

She said;

“I want to thank God for my mom,, and she tried everything she can to feed us, pay our school, fees make us happy.

“So Nigerians if you were in the industry with my dad, you’re seeing us now come and meet us.”

Life in Nigeria is undeniably challenging for many, and we all are striving daily to overcome the hardships that come our way.

We earnestly appeal to the Nollywood industry to kindly come to the aid of Mr. Ibu’s family, to support them in putting food on their tables and easing their burdens. Your compassion and assistance can make a significant difference in their lives and bring hope amidst the struggles.
