Billionaire businessman murdered in Abuja by his 21-year-old son during an intense argument
According to reports making rounds online, the incident happened on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the businessman’s residence located at No. 3 Hassan Adamu Street, Guzape, Abuja.
Sources alleged that the deceased was stabbed multiple times by his son, who is said to be currently serving as a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Reports further claimed that the argument started after the young man confronted his father over money-related issues, accusing him of being stingy despite his wealth. He allegedly compared his situation to that of his friends whose fathers, according to him, were less wealthy but still bought cars and provided lavish support for their children.
The businessman was also said to have criticized his son for allegedly living an extravagant lifestyle and mismanaging money.
During the confrontation, the situation reportedly escalated violently, leading to the young man allegedly stabbing his father three times. The businessman was said to have died at the scene from the injuries sustained.
It was further alleged that the suspect had returned from a nightclub earlier that day accompanied by two ladies, who were reportedly present during the incident.
The suspect is currently said to be in police custody as investigations into the tragic development continue.
