Basketmouth Shares Inspiring Message About Valuing Good Health

Comedian and actor Basketmouth has urged the public to practice greater gratitude, noting that waking up healthy and alive is a blessing many people do not have.

The performer stated that people shouldn’t take life or health for granted in a message posted on his Instagram story.

He explained that setbacks such as missing a deadline, losing a job, failing to get a promotion, or car trouble become secondary as long as one is alive and healthy.

Basketmouth wrote: “We all need to do a better job of showing gratitude to God. Waking up in the morning, healthy and alive, is a blessing that many people don’t have.

“So what if you miss a deadline? So, what if you don’t get that promotion? Lose your job? Or your car breaks down? If you’re alive and healthy, you still have something priceless.

“Don’t take anything for granted. Being able to use every part of your body without pain or difficulty is a gift. We often don’t appreciate what we have until it’s gone.

“Have you ever had boils on both ass cheeks before? That’s when you truly discover the value of a buttocks. Suddenly, sitting becomes a luxury and functioning buttocks becomes a blessing”.

Valuing good health is fundamentally important because it often goes unnoticed until it’s gone. Sometimes, we don’t realize what God is doing for us until we face a health challenge.

It’s in those moments, such as visiting the hospital, that we truly come to appreciate God’s blessings and the gift of good health. Therefore, we should cherish and prioritize our health, recognizing it as one of the most valuable blessings we have.
