Baba-Ahmed Says Citizens Are Tired Of Tinubu’s Leadership
President Bola Tinubu is allegedly running Nigeria around, according to Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).
When Tinubu said that Nigerians shouldn’t expect him to visit every state to campaign, Baba-Ahmed responded.
Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council’s inauguration in Abuja, Tinubu declared that he would concentrate on governance because he had bills to pay.
“You’ve warned me not to allow the rigour of the campaign to distract me from governance, I hear you. I am in full agreement with your decision. Nigeria needs more attention now.
“So, you will excuse me from going everywhere with you, we have bills to pay. The American creditors cannot wait,” the President had said.
Reacting, Baba-Ahmed said Nigerians were not expecting to see Tinubu campaign.
In a post on X, he wrote: “@PBAT says Nigerians should not expect to see him extensively hustling for votes.
“He will be busy running a country he had run around, while his appointees run around the country begging Nigerians to elect him again. Nigerians are not expecting to see him, nor are we surprised.”
Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has made a serious statement, saying that President Tinubu has run the country around and that many Nigerians are tired of seeing his face. Whether you agree with Baba-Ahmed or not, the decision about Nigeria’s leadership belongs to the voters. If you want a change, or if you want President Tinubu to continue, make your voice heard at the ballot box. The choice is yours—please come out and vote peacefully for the candidate you believe is right for the country
