Akinsola Celebrates Respect And Dignity In Osun 2026 Election

Aminat Akinsola, a voter with a physical disability, has praised election officials at her polling place in Ejigbo, Osun State, for making voting easier during Saturday’s governorship election.

Akinsola, who voted at Polling Unit 6, Ward 4, claimed that during accreditation and voting, officials took her condition into account.

She claimed that the arrangement allowed her to easily participate in the election and spared her the trouble of standing in line with other voters.

“I’m so happy because I was treated with respect while I was trying to cast my vote. I was even the first person to be accredited,” Akinsola said.

She also commended the calm environment at the polling place, stating that voters could come and cast their ballots without interference.

Akinsola expressed optimism that the election’s result would represent Osun State residents’ desires.

This is very good. Physically challenged people deserve our love and respect. They are valuable members of our society, and we should never look down on them. Treating them with kindness and dignity helps create a more inclusive and compassionate community for everyone.
