Damilola Adegbite, a Nollywood actress, has expressed her opinions on how older women are perceived in the dating scene.

The actress pointed out that as women grew older, society used to unfairly restrict them, especially when it came to relationships and finding love.

She claimed that women were frequently given the impression that their chances of finding a partner had expired once they reached a particular age. She does, however, think that attitudes are gradually shifting, with older women now being acknowledged and given more attention in the dating scene.

“There was a time when society made older women feel like once you’ve crossed a certain age, you should basically leave the dating market quietly but now the tables are turning. The older woman who was once overlooked has become the premium package”

Some older women may not want to think of themselves as “getting old” at all—they’re active, confident, and embracing life on their own terms. Whatever their age or stage in life, everyone deserves the chance to love and be loved.
