What do you see when you look at your life? Do you see only what is missing or can you also see what is still possible?
To see is to look at something. To perceive is to interpret what we see and decide what it means.
Two people can face a similar situation yet see it differently: one sees a dead end, while the other sees a chance to begin again.
So, what do you see in your home, your marriage, your work, your health, your project or your country? What do you see when life does not turn out as you hoped?
Pain is real. Disappointment, loneliness, and sadness are real, too. We are human, and we do not have to pretend that everything is fine. But we must be careful not to let our pain become the only thing we see. A difficult season is part of your story; it does not have to be the whole story.
You may be hurting in your marriage, searching for work, waiting for a child, struggling with your health, or carrying concern for your country. Acknowledge what is difficult, seek help where you need it, and take the next wise step. Keep nurturing what is good. Keep learning, praying, and moving forward. Hope does not mean denying reality; it means believing that hardship is not the end of every possibility.
Look again into your life….
Can you find a reason for gratitude alongside your grief? A small step you can take alongside the uncertainty? Someone who can walk with you through this season?
You do not have to feel joyful every moment. You do not have to face everything alone. But when you are ready, look again: there may still be strength to discover, help to receive, and hope to hold on to.
What do you see? May you see your challenges honestly and also see that they are not the whole of your life.
