David Umahi, Minister of Works, has declared that he will keep pushing Southeast residents to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu rather than Peter Obi in upcoming elections.
Speaking at a public event, Umahi stated that he thinks the Igbo people should support Tinubu. He claims that he will continue to urge voters in the area to back the President.
“I will continue to tell the Igbos not to vote Peter Obi but vote President Tinubu because it’s the right decision to make,” Umahi said.
I believe that people are capable of recognizing the right person they deem fit to lead the country as the next president. It is important that individuals are allowed to make their own informed choices without undue influence or pollution of their minds. Umahi should refrain from interfering in the people’s decision and respect their right to select the leader they trust. Ultimately, the power lies with the people, and they should be free to choose the candidate they believe will best serve the nation.
