Kano APC chieftain says Tinubu’s visible infrastructure and agricultural projects across the North justify strong electoral support in 2027.
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kano State, Alhaji Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has said that projects executed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in Northern Nigeria are visible and can be physically verified.
Speaking with journalists in Kano on Wednesday Iliyasu, stated that President Tinubu has prioritized infrastructure, agriculture and social intervention programs that directly impact Northern communities.
The APC Chieftain who is also the Executive Director, Finance, Hadejia-Jama’are River Basin Development Authority accused opposition leaders, including Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, of focusing on criticism rather than presenting clear alternatives to government. “Every day they are busy criticizing President Tinubu whose projects across the country, and specifically in the North, can be clearly seen,” he said.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is executing a massive portfolio of infrastructure and developmental projects across Kano and Northern Nigeria, valued at trillions of Naira, spanning highways, railways, power, and agriculture. These are projects that can be touched and seen, not mere baseless opposition,” Kwankwaso noted.
He disclosed that under the “Renewed Hope” agenda, over 30 federal projects are currently ongoing in Kano State alone.
The APC chieftain expressed belief that the President’s concern for Kano and the entire North deserved massive support in the 2027 elections.
“With the intervention of the President in Kano and other parts of Northern Nigeria, he will get massive votes that will secure his smooth re-election back to office in 2027,” he said.
He listed some of the projects to include the Kano–Kongolom Road, a major 132-kilometre dualization and construction project aimed at connecting Kano with Jigawa and Katsina, valued at ₦334 billion.
