President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja for Europe to begin a three-week annual leave. His first stop will be London, United Kingdom.
This is in line with a statement released on Sunday by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Advisor on Information and Strategy.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave,” the statement said. The United Kingdom’s London will be his first stop.
Onanuga revealed that the President is anticipated to return to the nation right away following his vacation in order to participate in what he called the “hectic campaign” for the general election in January 2027.
“President Tinubu is expected to return home after the working vacation to join the hectic campaign for the January 2027 election.”
The President’s visit coincides with the nation’s political activity picking up steam ahead of the 2027 elections, with candidates and parties stepping up their election-season preparations.
Nevertheless, the statement omitted information about the President’s itinerary in London and other vacation destinations.
We wish President Tinubu a safe and smooth journey as he embarks on his vacation in Europe. May his travels be free of any mishaps, and may he return refreshed and in good health. Journey mercies to him and his entourage.
