Super Falcons Goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor Joins Crystal Palace

The 21-year-old Nigerian joined the Eagles from Portsmouth—the club she signed for in July 2025—before making six appearances across all competitions.

Super Falcons goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has become the latest addition to Crystal Palace after signing a two-year deal with the Women’s Super League (WSL) side.

“Crystal Palace Women are delighted to announce the signing of Nigeria international goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor,” the club wrote on its website.

Following her announcement as a Crystal Palace player, team manager Jo Potter said: “Comfort is a promising young goalkeeper, and we are thrilled to have her here at Palace.”

The 21-year-old Nigerian joined the Eagles from Portsmouth—the club she signed for in July 2025—before making six appearances across all competitions.

Erhabor began her career at the Brighton & Hove Albion Academy before going on loan to Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle.

Born in the Netherlands and raised in England, the goalkeeper opted to represent Nigeria on the international stage.

She made her debut for the 10-time African champions in February 2026 during a friendly against Cameroon. She later made the Super Falcons’ squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

However, Erhabor did not play a single minute as the Super Falcons bowed out in the quarter-finals to eventual winners Cameroon.

She becomes the latest Super Falcons player to move to join a team in England after defender Rofiat Imuran secured a transfer to Aston Villa Women for the 2026/27 season.

The 22-year-old joins the English club from London City Lionesses, adding another chapter to a career that began with Stade de Reims in France

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
