Sheggz Breaks Silence: Setting The Record Straight On Bella Split And Allegations

For the first time, BBNaija star Segun Olusemo, better known by his stage name as Sheggz, has discussed the breakup of his long-term relationship with Bella Okagbue, refuting claims that he was abusive or unfaithful.

The reality TV star claimed in a long post on X that he had kept quiet out of respect for his family and his private nature, but that after years of establishing his public persona, he felt obliged to clear his name.

He wrote;

“I am not an abuser. For clarity, I did not cheat on Bella, and I have been single since January 2026.”

“I genuinely wanted the relationship to work. I even went as far as purchasing a ring because I believed in the possibility of a future together. Unfortunately, sometimes two people can care deeply for one another and still come to the realisation that the relationship is no longer right for them.”

“I have no desire for hostility or public back and forth. I simply want to move forward peacefully with dignity and respect for everyone involved. I wish Bella nothing but the best in life, and I hope we can all eventually move on with grace.”

We truly love their ship and genuinely wanted them to be together. Their chemistry and connection captured our hearts, and we believed in their story. No matter what happens, our support and affection for their journey remain strong. We hope for nothing but happiness for both of them moving forward.

QUOTES

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.

QUOTES

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
