Sean “Diddy” Combs’ projected federal prison release date has been moved up again, with Bureau of Prisons records now showing January 21, 2028.
Combs is serving a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey after being convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
A jury acquitted the music executive of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. His lawyers are appealing the convictions.
Combs’ projected release date has changed several times since he was sentenced. It was initially expected to be around June 2028 before being moved to February 2028 and now January 21, 2028.
According to reports, Combs has also been participating in a drug rehabilitation programme while in prison.
