Reno Omokri Claims Nigeria Is Safer Now Under Tinubu Than It Was Eight Years Ago

Published on

Reno Omokri, a political analyst, has argued that Nigeria is safer under President Bola Tinubu now than it was eight years ago and that Nigerians should consider the facts rather than feelings when discussing the nation’s security situation.

Omokri claimed that public opinion and political feelings frequently influence security discussions, but he maintained that the information at hand presents a different picture.

He said;

“When you focus on facts rather than emotions, the data shows that Nigeria is more secure under President Nigeria safer under Tinubu than eight years ago , and state police will further improve security.”

While I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and perspectives, personally, I believe that the situation has actually worsened now. Despite any claims of improvement, the challenges seem more pronounced, and the overall state of affairs appears to have declined. It’s important to consider all viewpoints, but from my perspective, things are not better—they’re indeed more difficult today.
