Peter Obi: Nigeria’s Path To Prosperity Will Draw The World To Visit Again

According to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), if elected in 2027, the nation will not be the same.

Speaking at a town hall meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Thursday, Peter Obi outlined the main reason why many nations refuse Nigerians visas.

He said, “No rich man will open their door for poor people, that’s why many countries are denying Nigerian visas.

“By the time we are done reforming Nigeria, Nigerians won’t like to be travelling outside like now. Even when they apply for a visa, they can easily get it.”

All the candidates are passionately promoting their visions and achievements, each blowing their trumpet to gain our support. However, as voters, we must look beyond the rhetoric and carefully evaluate who truly has the vision, integrity, and capacity to lead Nigeria towards a brighter future. It is essential that we choose the best presidential candidate—one who can unite the nation, foster sustainable development, and deliver real change. Our vote is our voice, and selecting the right leader is crucial for Nigeria’s progress.

QUOTES

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.

QUOTES

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
