Okey Bakassi And Wife’s 25-Year Love Revival: A Journey Of Fate And Forever

Okechukwu Onyegbule, also known as Okey Bakassi, is an actor and veteran comedian who is celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary with his wife, Ezinne.

He disclosed that he met his wife in 1988 and that they became friends after exchanging a few love letters. He also shared a video collage of them with their three children. He claimed that although their pursuit of higher education caused them to part ways, fate ultimately brought them back together.

“We met in 1988, a few love letters later, we became friends. The pursuit of higher education pulled us apart, but destiny brought us back together. On the 1st of September 2001, in the city where we met and fell in love (Port Harcourt), we exchanged our marital vows, with family and friends in attendance.

“‎God has blessed us with three lovely young adults, kept us in good health and has seen us through a turbulent world that is always changing.

‎”We are not chasing records or trying to prove people wrong. We are just living our lives and showing ourselves that we made the right decision… in love, trust, faith, and humility.

“‎Zizi, my darling wife, thanks for saying YES 25yrs ago…thanks for believing, thanks for staying, thanks for helping me find direction, thanks for your sacrifices. Please, let’s do another 25 years and beyond… You know me as no one else does. I love you forever.

‎Happy 25th anniversary, Zizi”.

Congratulations to Okey Bakassi and his wife on reaching this remarkable 25th wedding anniversary. Your journey together is a beautiful testament to love, resilience, and destiny. May your bond continue to grow stronger with each passing year, inspiring everyone around you. Here’s to many more years of happiness, laughter, and togetherness!

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
