Nathaniel Bassey’s Role In Reviving Mercy Chinwo’s Career – Husband

Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, the resident pastor of The Waterbrook Church (TWB) in Lekki, Lagos, and the husband of well-known gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, has disclosed how his friend Pastor Nathaniel Bassey assisted in the singer’s revival.

Blessed said the incident happened while Chinwo was expecting their second child, who was born in 2025, during a Sunday service. He described how she unexpectedly collapsed after feeling ill after leaving their room for their son’s room.

In his words;

“I can remember what he did when my wife was pregnant with my second child. She came out of the room and went to my son’s room. She started complaining and collapsed. Her face was dark, and I was confused because she was not responding. I called Pastor Nath, and he said that I should do a video call, and he came with the Hallelujah Challenge prayer team,” he said.

We thank God sincerely for using Pastor Nathaniel Bassey as a vessel to bring Mercy Chinwo back and restore her faith.
