French Luxury brand, Louis Vuitton unveils a bespoke trunk to transport the FIFA World Cup trophy to the New York- New Jersey final.
The FIFA World Cup trophy will arrive at the New York-New Jersey stadium, inside a bespoke Louis Vuitton trunk, with the French luxury fashion house once again entrusted with transporting football’s most esteemed prize.
The handcrafted trunk features a striking gold “V” representing both “Victory” and “Vuitton,” alongside the brand’s signature monogram and gold-plated brass corner protectors. Its beige leather-lined interior includes a commemorative patch marking Louis Vuitton’s longstanding partnership with FIFA.
This marks the fifth consecutive World Cup for which Louis Vuitton has created the trophy’s travel case, having previously designed the trunks used at the 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 tournaments.
Luxury brands have maintained a strong presence in global sports, with Tiffany & Co. producing the Vince Lombardi Trophy awarded to Super Bowl champions since 1967, while Louis Vuitton also crafts bespoke trophy trunks for Formula 1 under a long-term partnership.
