Joeboy Shares Reasons For Maintaining Privacy In His Marriage

Joeboy, an Afrobeats musician, has stated that he would like to get married young but would keep it a secret from the public until he has at least three kids.

In an interview with British media personality Madame Joyce, the artist revealed the information about marriage, timing, and privacy.

He said;

“Personally, I would rather get married early. But if I get married right now, nobody is going to know. Maybe when I have like three kids, people will now find out that Joeboy has a whole family somewhere.”

“But marriage is not really about whenever it feels cool. If it just feels right to you and you love the person, do it.”

“I saw an interview of Timini. He’s like the ideal playboy; almost all the girls claim to love him, and he was like, he wished he got married early. I was like, if you’re a playboy and you can say this, that means marrying early might actually be nice.”

“That is not the only identifier for me. But marrying early to someone who you genuinely love is going to be cute. Being 40 and having a 16-year-old kid is cute.”

Marriage is a deeply personal journey that doesn’t need to be broadcast on social media. While sharing moments can be wonderful, it’s important to remember that not everything about your relationship belongs online. Privacy helps build trust, respect, and a strong foundation between partners. Ultimately, marriage should be about the bond you share in private, away from the often unnecessary scrutiny of the public eye.

QUOTES

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
