ICPC Exposes Another Scam Agency In SGF Office

Another alleged fraudulent organization working within the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation has been discovered by the ICPC.

Three Permanent Secretaries have been suspended, and President Bola Tinubu has ordered the arrest of its alleged promoter.

This was revealed on Friday by ICPC Chairman Musa Adamu Aliyu during a briefing for State House reporters at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to him, the National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Special Project Office was given office space in the SGF complex without the president’s approval.

According to Aliyu, the discovery came after the commission looked into flaws in government processes and the fictitious Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council.

The commission claimed that Prince George Buchi Nwabueze was the office’s purported promoter and that the SGF’s office may have had collaborators who helped it run.

Following the briefing, President Tinubu ordered the immediate arrest of Nwabueze and the suspension of three Permanent Secretaries: Richard P. Pheelangwah, Engineer Nadungu Gagare, and M. S. Danjuma.

In order to stop similar abuses, the President has also ordered a forensic audit of government procedures, according to the ICPC.
