I Go Save Rally For Sowore’s Immediate Release

Comedian I Go Save has demanded that activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore be freed.

He denounced what he called the growing prominence of Department of State Services (DSS) personnel in cases involving vocal opponents of the powerful.

“Growing up, I only used to hear about the DSS. I never saw them, nor did I know what they looked like. In my mind, they were almost mythical like figures you only saw in pictures.

“But alas, these days, you’re more likely to see a DSS operative than a POS operator. Every little thing now seems to attract them, especially when it’s time to silence outspoken voices on behalf of the oppressors.

“Gbam! Make una free Sowore now!” he wrote.

We humbly urge the court to tender mercy with justice and to consider the urgent need for Sowore’s release.
