Fans were moved when Nollywood actress Nancy Isime shared memories of her late colleague Alex Ekubo during his song service.
Speaking at the function, the actress called Alex a vivacious individual with a “bad mouth.”
“And one thing nobody has really mentioned here is his bad mouth. Alex had bad mouth. He used to call me old 20 naira, the oldest. Even when I started to make money and look new, he said no, you are still old 20 naira.”
“Once you put a camera on his face, you must make sure he yabs you. And you can never out yab Alex. Never. He had the biggest heart. He loved to give. Even if the only thing he could give you is the meat in his food, he will give it to you,” adding that he would still joke about it afterward. Alex was a big part of Nollywood. He came and he dominated. His performances are something to always look forward to.”
This really got me laughing! Alexx is truly a wonderful being, and moments like these just remind us of his amazing personality.
