Eid-el-Kabir: Aiyedatiwa Urges Unity And Prayer For Ondo State And Nigeria
Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the governor of Ondo State, has called for the advancement of both the state and the nation as a whole.
On Wednesday, the faithful Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
This was stated in a statement he personally signed and provided to our correspondent on Tuesday.
He said, “On behalf of the Government and good people of Ondo State, I extend my warmest felicitations to you as you celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Adha.
“The Eid-el-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, reminds us of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith, obedience, and willingness to submit to the will of Allah.
“It is a season that calls us to embody the virtues of sacrifice, charity, tolerance, and love for one another, regardless of religion or background.
“As an administration, we remain committed to fostering peace, unity, and religious harmony across Ondo State. I urge you to use this celebration to pray for the continued peace and progress of our dear state and Nigeria at large, and to extend a hand of generosity to the less privileged around you.”
“May Almighty Allah accept your prayers, sacrifices, and good deeds, and grant you and your families abundant blessings, good health, and prosperity. Eid Mubarak! Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum.”
There is nothing as sweet and powerful as being united as one. Unity fosters peace, strength, and progress, especially during times of celebration. As we come together to observe Eid-el-Kabir, let us cherish these moments of togetherness and harmony. Wishing all Muslims a joyous and blessed celebration!
