The final forfeiture of assets valued at billions of naira connected to Mrs. Aisha Achimugu who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Felak Concept Group has been ordered by an Abuja High Court located in Apo.
The properties had earlier been the subject of legal proceedings before the court granted the final forfeiture order.
The forfeited properties include:
- Jewellery valued at N4,645,170,294.90 (Four Billion, Six Hundred and Forty-Five Million, One Hundred and Seventy Thousand, Two Hundred and Ninety-Four Naira, Nine Kobo)
- Eleven exotic vehicles worth N4,293,000,000 (Four Billion, Two Hundred and Ninety-Three Million Naira)
$50,000 (Fifty Thousand United States Dollars) in cash
- N30,000,000 (Thirty Million Naira) in cash
On Thursday, July 16, 2026, Justice Jude Onwugbuzie issued the order in response to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s application for the properties’ permanent forfeiture.
The decision came after the anti-graft agency requested that the assets—described as high-value personal belongings and cash holdings associated with Achimugu—be permanently transferred to the government.
This marks the culmination of a relentless crackdown on illicit assets, as yesterday it was Malami’s turn, today it’s Achimugu, and tomorrow—who will be next in this ongoing battle?
As authorities tighten the noose on corrupt practices, the era of final forfeitures signals a resolute stand against economic crimes. The question remains: who will be the next to face the weight of justice?
