Manchester United has won the Community Shield 21 times, making them the most successful team in its history.

With 17 Community Shield wins, Arsenal is ranked second in history, while Liverpool has won the trophy 16 times.

In advance of Sunday’s 2026 Community Shield between Arsenal and Manchester City at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, the Premier League highlights the numbers.

With 21 victories, United leads Arsenal by four and Liverpool by five. Everton is next with nine victories.

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have each won the Community Shield seven times, while Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers have four victories apiece.

Manchester United’s record 21 victories remain the benchmark, with Arsenal and Liverpool the only other clubs to have won the competition more than 15 times.
