Charly Boy Shares His Questions For God

Nigerian performer Charles Oputa, better known by his stage as name Charly Boy, has expressed his doubts about some of the biblical stories.

Charly Boy questioned why God put the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden and punished humanity for their disobedience when discussing the Christian holy book.

He disclosed that he had read the entire Bible since he was a young child and had attended a seminary for roughly six months with the intention of becoming a priest before deciding against it.

“Why did you tell them not to eat from the tree before they even knew what good and evil was?. Why punish them for being deceived by the serpent?”

“Why does it seem like the serpent was the one who actually told the truth?. Why make human suffering a thing?,” he further questioned.
