Celebrating 59 Years Of Love: Adeboye And His Wife Mark Their Wedding Anniversary

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and his beloved wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.

The cleric thanked God for keeping them together for almost 60 years in a message posted on his X account on Tuesday.

Adeboye considered their marriage to be a journey filled with happy times, difficult times, personal development, answered prayers, and numerous reasons to be grateful.

He wrote: “Today, we look back with grateful hearts as we celebrate 59 years of marriage.

“It feels like yesterday that we began this journey together. Through the years, we have experienced seasons of joy, challenges, growth, answered prayers and countless reasons to give God thanks.

“We have learnt that marriage is not just about the beautiful moments. It is about choosing each other every day, giving room for growth, showing patience, forgiving, praying together and trusting God through every season.

“Above all, we are grateful that God has been at the centre of our home. Every step of the way, He has remained faithful.

“As we celebrate 59 years together, our hearts are filled with thanksgiving to God and appreciation for everyone who has loved, prayed for and supported us and our family over the years.

“We are grateful for the journey so far, and we look forward to all that God still has in store. To God be all the glory”.
