Brymo Discusses Past Relationships With Married Women

In addition to acknowledging that he had relationships with multiple married women in the early years of his career, Nigerian singer Brymo has said that a fellow musician once asked his then-wife if she had ever had s*x with him.

The singer disclosed the information in a recent podcast interview in which he discussed his previous relationships and how those encounters influenced his perspective on life.

“I met quite a number of older women who were truly married. This goes to younger artistes, stop sleeping with people’s wives. They will cut your life short. They would tell me they were separated from their husbands.”

“She said, ‘Our baba will be there.’ I thought she meant her father, but she said, ‘No, my husband.’

“As far as I’m concerned, me going there to perform that night is me opening myself up for some crazy ritual. I just couldn’t take it, so I had to get out,” he added.

Reflecting on the experience, the singer said it reminded him of an encounter he claimed took place in 2019, during which another music star allegedly asked his then-wife whether she had ever been s*xually involved with him.

“I will never forget it. I am wicked, you people don’t know me,” he claimed.

This message applies to both men and women who find themselves involved with married individuals—it’s time to stop. Engaging in such relationships only invites curses and misfortune upon oneself.

Men should refrain from dating married women, and women should avoid dating married men. I am genuinely glad to see Brymo has turned a new leaf and chosen a better path.

Let’s all strive to make healthier, more respectful choices in our relationships.

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.

QUOTES

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
