Blessing CEO And IVD Express Regret Over Past Actions

Published on

The social media influencer Blessing Nkiruka, also referred to as Blessing CEO, has issued an apology for her previous comments and behavior that seemed to make fun of those who were in pain.

Blessing apologized for her previous transgressions in an Instagram video, acknowledging that she had talked “carelessly about pains I have never felt.”

She added that she was facing the repercussions of her mistakes and expressed her sincere regret to those she had offended, saying that she now recognized the hurt her words and deeds had caused.

By comparing her return to that of the prodigal son, the influencer also pled with people who had lost their love for her due to her behavior to pardon her. She claimed that after learning her lessons, she was prepared to start over.

“I am so sorry. Why are you looking at me? What do you want me to do? Tell me, because I am confused. My brain is so numb, and the only thing I see is darkness. Everything is just a blur before my eyes. Go ahead and mock me. Yes, throw my own words and mistakes in my face. Maybe I would learn that way,” she said.

“Is this not hard enough, when everything no longer makes sense? I am sorry. I am so, so sorry for speaking carelessly about pains I have never felt. I am sorry, so sorry, because I am realising that talk is cheap, but actions speak louder.

“I am only human, with blood flowing through my veins, so I am bound to make mistakes. Mistakes have a price, and that is what I am paying for now, with my tears. I am so broken to the point that I am losing myself. Pray for me because I am exhausted from praying by myself.

“So, I will say this over and over again: I am sorry to everyone I have hurt with my words and actions. Now, I can feel every bit of the pain I once mocked. To those who still love me despite my mistakes, I am sorry.

“To those who no longer love me because of my actions, I am sorry. I am back home like the prodigal son in the Bible, and I am not ashamed of coming back home, where I had abundance, instead of eating crumbs on the street. I am that prodigal child who is not ashamed to make a U-turn from my lost direction. Let’s start all over again, now that I have learnt the lessons in a very hard way.”

She also mourned her second son Bryan, who died on June 8, expressing how much she and her family miss him.

“To my son who passed away. Dum Dum, as I call you, I miss you, and I promise to correct every wrong and keep making you proud in heaven. Your brother misses you too, including Granny, your bestie Amara, and Daddy. We miss you so much. But no problem. I hope you are resting peacefully while watching over us here as a guardian angel,” she added.

Ikechukwu Ogbonna, Blessing’s partner and well-known auto dealer known as IVD, also pled for God’s mercy and asked for forgiveness from people he has harmed. He described it as “five years of endless battles.”

“To my family, friends, and business partners. It’s been five years of endless battles, also trying to retract all my mistakes. I pray for God’s mercy and forgiveness. In any way I have hurt anyone, I pray for forgiveness. I am only human. I am not a perfect person,” he wrote.

“I have prayed for God’s forgiveness and for Him to show me mercy. Like the Lord said, there is a time for everything: a time to reflect, a time to focus. I am that man whom God has shown mercy.”

I truly feel for Blessing and the loss of her son it’s heartbreaking, and I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for her. I hope she has had the chance to reflect and learn from past mistakes. May people find it in their hearts to forgive her and give her the opportunity to move forward and start again.
